My wife and I and our 2 dogs stayed at Nigel’s for one night.
The accommodation was comfortable; we had a kettle in the room for tea and coffee,
a little fridge to keep our drinks cool and some games to pass time.
Mango lodge was quiet and spacious enough for the 4 of us.
The property is well located and within walking distance to herne bay pier and coastal park.
Communication was great, Nigel is an approachable and responsive host who gives you room to do your own thing
and available if you need him; he has a good knowledge of the area.
Can we talk about Nigel’s breakfast please???
We have stayed in many places but I must say Nigel’s breakfast was out of this world.
He grows quite a bit of his own vegetables on site and his sausage and bacon were amazing quality.
The veggie option was lush with asparagus and the home made veggie sausages.
We regret not going for the large option.
The truth is Nigel’s food was so good that we would gladly come back just to have breakfast.
'The cottage was perfect for a short stay.
The garden is very pleasant and Nigel is a very welcoming and caring host.
The beach is a 15 minute walk and there is a lot to do in town and the area.
We'd love to go back.
I had stayed here for 1 night with my 2 little dogs.
Nigel had given me clear directions and greeted me once I had arrived,
he showed me to the lodge at the end of his beautiful enclosed garden and I was very pleased.
There was tea and coffee facilities a very comfortable bed and a sparkling clean bathroom with a shower.
There was also the option to order a breakfast and that tasted amazing.
In the lodge is also a folder showing you different things around herne bay.
The WiFi worked great and the dogs enjoyed their stay.
I was able to leave the door to the lodge open and let the dogs have the run of the garden
which they loved and took full advantage of.
Also if I had any questions about my stay I would message Nigel and he replied within minutes.
I would 100% stay here again. Nigel was very polite and easily approachable I had no complaints or concerns
Nigel was friendly and welcoming answered our questions about the area.
The lodge was comfortable all we needed a nice outside area if we needed.
It. Easy to get to sea front with lots to do. Can get a bus to Whitstable another good day out.
Great location close to the beach. We took our 18 month dog with us.
She was very unsettled before we left but quickly settled in her new surroundings.
Nigel is a friendly man It was our Anniversary and Nigel cooked a meal we had bought as we thought there was facilities.
It was very kind of him to do that.
Nigel the host was super friendly and gave us an outstanding breakfast
Great stay! Exactly as described, cozy cottage close to super market and restaurants and train station,
tea, coffee, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was also delicious and very convenient.
Nigel was great to communicate with and very flexible. I would definitely stay here again.
We found Nigels place to be clean, comfortable and in a quiet location.
It was the perfect place for us as we were just visiting the area and stayed one night.
We found the location to be within walking distance from the train station
and Herne Bay town and sea, so it was perfect for us as we didn't have a car. Thank you Nigel.
Nigel made myself and my dog feel very welcome for our 3 night stay.
My full English breakfast came with a birthday card and well wishes and he was very accommodating in my stay.
Will definitely recommend, perfect for 1 or 2 people and a dog!

Lovely accommodation in a great area for both the Town and sea front.
The host, Nigel was very friendly and welcoming which helps to make you feel comfortable.
Beautifully presented, great host , very quirky and decent value,accommodation
plenty tea coffee milk and cookies provided Nigel is a very welcoming host .
Great little place for a short getaway with my Granddaughter and our dog .
We really appreciated the extras such as the toys and games, shower gel etc and the dog throw.
